Action against over speeding bikers

Ambamata police came into action on Sunday at Rani Road. It was reported that a number of young boys drove on Rani Road in high speed. Aged people were mostly fearful as they have been continuously taking their evening stroll here.

High speed bikes become a nuisance for people who wish to relax on these roads with families. In any case Udaipur roads are not meant for racing or over speeding and Rani Road is specifically a road which has lots of steep turns. With young bikers over speeding here, it is quite likely that people taking a walk on road sides on the turns might get hit dangerously. Complaints were being rolled since long but this time police decided to take strict action.

Sunday evening police raised challans to 10 bikers for over speeding and also for not wearing helmets. Their family members were also called for and situation was explained to them. Despite all rules and regulations and strictness, two wheeler riders not wearing helmets manage to escape at the sight of traffic police conducting helmet-check. Strict action is needed and police need to display their power and strength to maintain a good traffic in the city.
