The Administrative Block of Fisheries College of MPUAT, Udaipur was inaugurated today. Prof. Vazeer S. Laakda, Vice Chancellor & Director, Central Fisheries Education Institute, Mumbai and Prof. O. P. Gill, Vice Chancellor, MPUAT, Udaipur carried out the inaugural proceedings in the event.

Prof. Lakaada in his address to the students said that, “Fisheries is one of the subjects with a lot significance in future. With the constant self evaluation, hard work and dedication, one can make a very bright career in this field.”

Prof. O. P. Gill thanked Rajasthan Government for providing the financial support to arrange basic structure and instruments in the college. He also added that, “Every student of the college will benefit from developed labs and workshops. Help from Central Fisheries Education Institute and various institutions of Indian Agriculture Research Campus will also be taken”.

Many officials including Prof. I. J. Mathur, Prof. Jeet Singh, Prof. B. K. Nandwana, Prof. A. K. Sankhla, Prof. Aarti Sankhala, Prof. Virendra Nepalia, P. R. Chandak, Prof. R. K. Kaushik amongst others were present in the event.
