Kendriya Vidyalaya Principal and Nodal Officer, Dil Bahadur Singh, representing Kendriya Vidyalaya Pratap Nagar, addressed the general public in the Information Center's Auditorium, emphasizing the progress made in implementing the National Education Policy-2020 after three years. He highlighted that the Government of India has given special attention to incorporating both traditional and innovative learning methods for the comprehensive development of students in the National Education Policy-2020. He firmly believes that if this new education policy is implemented faithfully, India can aspire to become a superpower.

Principal Singh shared significant changes introduced in the National Education Policy-2023. One major change is blurring the boundaries between extra-curricular and curricular subjects, including academic, vocational, and artistic subjects. Additionally, the policy will prioritize enhancing foundational literacy and numeracy. Another noteworthy change is that students will no longer be mandated to study solely in the official language of their state. Furthermore, students will have the opportunity to appear for board exams twice, providing them with better chances for success. He also mentioned that Kendriya Vidyalaya Pratap Nagar has introduced AI as an additional subject, and they are focusing on encouraging students to learn through practical application, laboratory work, and real-life experiences.

The event was attended by several prominent education figures, including Arun Kumar, Principal of Kendriya Vidyalaya Eklinggarh, Mehboob Ali, Principal of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Mavli, Dr. Kamlesh Sharma, Joint Director of Information and Public Relations Department, William D'Souza, Principal of St. Anthony's, as well as Vice Principals of Kendriya Vidyalaya Pratap Nagar, Amrit Lal Meena, Govardhan Vora, Gulzhari Lal, among others.
