Vinod Kumar Yadav has been awarded with the Career Award for Young Teacher by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.The purpose of the scheme is to identify young talented teachers who have established competence in their area of specialization

Yadav is an Assistant Professor at Department of Electrical Engineering, College of Technology and Engineering, Udaipur. He was selected by the screening committee of AICTE after looking into his contribution in his area of specialization. Applications were invited from technical institutes throughout the country for this award.

This award also includes financial assistants of Rs. 1.25 lakh for research in the field of application of Power Electronics for wind generation system.  Yadav informed that this fellowship will help in generation of technology that will help the state in generation of power from renewable sources.
