Starting June 1, 2024, Air India is expanding its services to Phuket, Thailand, in response to increased demand. They will introduce a second daily flight to this tropical destination, operating every day except Wednesdays. This addition complements Air India's current daily flights linking Delhi and Phuket. As of January 2024, the service was operating daily, and with the introduction of a second daily flight, the number of flights to Phuket will almost double.

The official Press Release states that the adjusted flight schedule has been carefully planned to meet the needs of travellers, offering a convenient departure from Delhi in the late morning to better accommodate passengers.

Due to this expansion, Air India will now offer a combined total of 34 weekly flights to Thailand from Delhi and Mumbai. Travellers can conveniently book seats on these extra flights using different platforms like the Air India website, mobile app, or through travel agents. This schedule is ideal for guests coming from Europe, ensuring a smooth and trouble-free journey to the scenic beach destination.
