Airport Authority to Grant Rs.1 Cr for CSR at Dabok
The Airport Authority of India (AAI) has selected Udaipur Airport from across the nation, where they will grant Rs.1 Cr for next seven years for CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) activities in nearby villages and schools.
The Airport Authority of India (AAI) has selected Udaipur Airport from across the nation, where they will grant Rs.1 Cr for next seven years for CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) activities in nearby villages and schools.
According to Ashutosh A.T Pednekar, District Collector, Udaipur, “In a meeting held with officials of AAI and Maharna Pratap Airport, tentative activities were discussed, which concluded with few favorable decisions.”
These decisions include installing water purifier in various government schools of villages around airport. Apart from this, schools will also be equipped with computer labs initially, while further facilities will be provided as per demand or requirement.
Pednekar added that AAI approved these CSR grant only for Udaipur airport from across country. This grant will be raised by certain percentage every year.
The district collector will also forward a letter to higher authorities, requesting temporary immigration and custom counter at Maharana Pratap Airport, so that international charter could land directly in the city.
