For repetitive acts of nuisance under the influence of alcohol constable Veer Singh (belt no. 1700) has been terminated from government service by Superintendent of Police, Alok Vashisth after he was arrested under 34 Police Act by Surajpol police on April 19 .

In a strict action taken today, the Superintendent of Police dismissed the constable for his irresponsible and disturbing behaviour while in uniform. Before this also he was arrested many a times by the department for his similar negligence and was suspended in the past.

According to the information, Veer Singh have a past record of irritating people in different parts of the city including Gulab Bagh, Mewar Motor Ki Gali and Udiyapol Circle and had also crashed police vehicle in drunken state and was suspended 7 times before.

Though he was punished many times for his behaviour but no change was recorded and this resulted in his termination. The sources informed that he has been working in police department from the past 12 years.
