Alok Institute Marked the Maharana Pratap Jayanti
Today Alok Institution at Udaipur had celebrated Maharana Pratap Jayanti with utmost honor and admired the bravery of the great characteristic and charisma of Maharana.

The event also marked the birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore which was on May 7th 2011
The program was started with the prayer of Goddess Saraswati, followed by lightning of the lamp.
Dr. Pradeep Kumawat – director of alok institute offered flowers of gratitude to the portrait of Maharana Pratap. Taruna Chakravarti presented a bangla song, which mesmerized the audience present in the institute’s auditorium.
Alok institute has started the celebration of Maharana Pratap Jayanti on 9th of May every year; the institution always encourage to mark the celebration on this day.
Dr. Kumawat had narrated several stories and shared some useful information to all students present in the event about Maharana Pratap that how the great king of Mewar- Maharana Pratap safeguarded the land of Mewar.
Maharana Pratap was born in Kumbhalgarh and he was also known as Rana Kika, there could be no one comparable to Maharana Pratap in the world history, Pratap was and will remain the greatest hero of Mewar, said Dr. Kumawat.
Dr. Kumawat also described the chivalry of Pratap’s horse – Chetak who sacrificed his life while saving his master in the war of Haldi ghati.
There is lot to learn from the life of Maharana Pratap, its valuable teachings can give us success in our throughout journey of life.
The event concluded by throwing light on the life and achievements of India’s great poet and musician Rabindranath Tagore.
