Udaipur's Anaisha Gets Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Bharat Puraskar

Udaipur, June 1, 2025 - Anaisha Vijayvergia, a multi-talented nine year old from Udaipur, was awarded the prestigious Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Bharat Puraskar in Mumbai by the grandnephew of former India President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam. Other dignitaries awarded during the ceremony included director Ramesh Sippy and singer Udit Narayan. 

Anaisha, the granddaughter of Udaipur residents Suresh and Dr Kusum Vijayvergia, has entered into the India Book of Records for her skills in solo dance, story-telling and speech. She has also been selected as Super Talented kid by International Book of Records and and recognised as child achiever by  Global Child Prodigy and World Book of Records, London.

The youngster’s name has been included in Vajra World records as World Record holder.

Anaisha has had a keen interest in dance and story-telling since she was three years old. After seeing her interest in these fields, her parents focussed on developing her skills further and thereafter, she has won many awards in these fields.

Anaisha was the youngest among the 40 distinguished awardees at the event. Sippy was given Lifetime Achievement Award.
