Post-mortem report of gangster Anand Pal cannot be shared with anyone. Rajasthan State Information Commissioner Ashutosh Sharma said that post-mortem report is an important matter that can be shared with police/court/doctors and the family members of the deceased. Unless the report has some issue of public interest, it cannot be revealed to anyone else apart from the above mentioned people.

He also said that even the names of members of medical team who conducted the post-mortem cannot be publicised. A copy of report of Anand Pal’s post-mortem cannot be shared with general public. The Information Commission said that agencies enforcing rules for post-mortem reports are protected by police/court and this is personal information which can be given only to the family. Wife of Anand Pal was given a copy of the post-mortem report.
