Statewide protests against the encounter of gangster Anandpal reached Udaipur today. Members of Karni Sena carried out a strong protest against the encounter of Anandpal last week.

Karni Sena members first burnt down effigies of Chief Minister and State Home Minister at Sevasharam Chauraha. The members then reached collectorate in form of a huge protest rally.

Members of Karni Sena called the encounter a conspiracy by the Government and demanded a CBI enquiry in the matter. The members said that they will continue the protest till the family members of Anandpal are provided with justice.

Karni Sena members said that Anandpal had played a positive role in social service as well and Police had taken an illegal route for carrying out his encounter.
