Udaipur, March 8, 2025 - A young innovator from Kanpur, Anant Vaishya, has created an app that helps disabled children study easily. His app, "The Special School," is specially designed for students who have difficulty seeing, hearing, speaking, or moving. Anant Vaishya, a 22-year-old from Kanpur, has developed an app that helps disabled children learn without any support. Despite his own physical challenges, he created this unique application to assist those who struggle with traditional education.

The Central Ministry of Education has certified this app and provided funding for its expansion. The Indian Innovation Department has also praised Anant for his efforts in helping disabled students.

How the App Works?

The app, "The Special School," can be downloaded from the Play Store. Once installed, it allows students to study by using voice commands. If a student cannot see, the app reads out lessons through a speaker. If a student cannot hear, the app displays lessons using visuals, symbols, and written text. For access of the app - Click Here

Covers NCERT Syllabus

This app is designed for students from Class 1 to Class 5 and follows the NCERT syllabus. Currently, around 400 children are using this app for their studies. Three schools in Kanpur for physically challenged students have already adopted it.

Anant himself suffers from a rare disease called Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita. Despite his condition, he has won several awards for his innovative work and has made the country proud.
