Ankit Kumar Singh is now the new Commissioner of Municipal Corporation. He took charge of duties on Friday. He was accompanied by wife Anjali Rajoria who has been assigned the post of Additional Tribal Commissioner.

After taking charge of duties, Ankit Kumar met with Mayor Chandra Singh Kothari. He also took details of administrative systems from Additional Commissioner Bhoj Kumar. The new Commissioner said that he would meet all the relevant officers in-charge and engineers and discuss about the city’s development works. He also met the senior IAS officers in the city. It may be noted that Udaipur city has got a permanent commissioner after a period of 2 months. After the transfer of Commissioner Siddharth Sihag, the activities of Municipal Corporation were being looked after by OP Bunkar.
