In another lock breaking incident, thieves stole 22 tolas of gold from a lone house on Goverdhan Vilas area.

Kushal s/o Netrapal Yadav resident of Bhupalpura reported to the police that his sister Kalavati’s house has been robbed off in Goverdhan Vilas area. Kalavati w/o Kedarnath has her house in Goverdhan Vilas. Ever since the festival of Raksha bandhan, her house is locked as she is in Bengaluru.

On Friday, Kushal was informed by the neighbours of Kalavati that somebody had broken into the house. When Kushal reached his sister’s house, he saw that all rooms were broken into and things were lying scattered. Even the cupboard locks were broken. From the cupboard thieves took away gold bangles weighing around 3 tolas,  two neck pieces weighing 6 tolas, gold rings and ear studs weighing 6 tolas, 4 gold chains and earstuds weighing 5 tolas, earrings weighing 2 tolas, silver glasses, bowls etc.

Girwa Deputy Om Kumar investigated the site. Police is trying to collect evidences.
