A total of forty individuals demonstrated in front of collectorate and presented a memorandum to collector, against the lapse of Mines & Geology Department in informing them before postponing the scheduled interviews.

As per the memorandum, the applicants were supposed to be interviewed between 20th Jan – 25th Jan by the Mines & Zoology department, as per the call letter that they received beforehand. When all the applicants reached Udaipur today, they were informed that, the interviews have been postponed till further notice.

The applicants demonstrated outside the collectorate out of rage, where collector assured them to release the dates of interviews soon in the local news sources.

The official of Mines & Geology Department though stated that, they have made sure to inform the related applicants by publishing the news of postponed interviews in the local news sources on 16th Jan.

“The interviews are postponed on the orders of government authorities, and the information on next possible dates is yet to be received.”, informed DS Garg, Mines & Geology Department.
