Sachin Tendulkar's Son Arjun Gets Engaged to Saaniya Chandok in a Private Ceremony
Udaipur, Aug 14, 2025: Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun Tendulkar got engaged to Saaniya Chandok in a private ceremony, sources said on Wednesday, Aug 13. Social media was full of posts after the news of the young cricketer taking an important step in his personal life came out. However, there has been no official statement from the families of Arjun Tendulkar or Saaniya Chandok. Saaniya is the granddaughter of Ravi Ghai. The Ghai family is an established business family in Mumbai.

Ravi Ghai is the owner of Intercontinental Marine Drive Hotel and Brooklyn Creamery, a low-calorie ice cream brand. The engagement ceremony was very private, with only special guests and friends from both families attending, as per sources.
Sania is not a public figure and is less active on social media. According to official records of the Government of India (Ministry of Corporate Affairs), Sania Chandok is a designated partner and Director in a Mumbai-based company named Mr. Paws Pet Spa & Store LLP.
Arjun Tendulkar Career
In IPL 2025, Arjun did not get a chance to play any match. Mumbai Indians retained him at his base price of ₹30 lakh in the mega auction. He sat on the bench for the entire season.
Arjun plays domestic cricket for Goa after leaving Mumbai. He has played 17 First-Class matches, taking 37 wickets at an average of 33.51 and scoring 532 runs at an average of 23.13. In List-A cricket, he has played 18 matches, taking 25 wickets at an average of 31.2 and scoring 102 runs at an average of 17. In T20s, he has played 24 matches, taking 27 wickets and scoring 119 runs.
Arjun made his IPL debut in 2023 for Mumbai Indians. In that season, he played four matches and took three wickets. His first IPL wicket was Bhuvneshwar Kumar of SunRisers Hyderabad. In the next season, he played only one match and did not take any wicket. Mumbai Indians retained him for the 2024 season, and in the following mega auction, they bought him again for ₹30 lakh.
