Art gallery in Saheliyon ki Bari stayed closed for a day. Tourists returned from Saheliyon ki Bari disappointed with the fact that the Art Gallery they so much wished to see was closed on Monday. It may be noted that the gallery was inaugurated on Sunday.

The SIERT Art Gallery was inaugurated in Saheliyon ki Bari on Sunday. On the day of inauguration, all fountains were also functioning in the garden the entire day. Tourists enthusiastically went to visit the gallery but were disappointed to see that it was closed on Monday. As informed by the incharge of SIERT Art and Cultural Centre, the gallery had to be kept closed as cleaning work was going on there. He also said that they did not have enough staff to take care of the Art Gallery. They have just one security guard and one attendant whereas more staff is needed for proper supervision of the gallery.

It was also informed that Tuesday onwards the gallery will remain open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Ticket charges have not yet been decided for movie shows and cultural evenings, hence these will not be available as of now. Tourists can visit herbal garden, bird area and painting gallery in the meantime.
