Famous miniature artist of Udaipur, Chandra Prakash Chittora came along with his handmade mini kite, today on the occasion of Makar Sankranti. Chittora has made 0.5 centimeter kite with amazing details.

According to Chandraprakash, the kite is one of the smallest kites in the world; it took him 10 days to make this mini kite, which he has prepared specially for Makar Sankranti.
“I have taken care of every minute detail so that it can look like a normal kite, this kite is made up of colorful page, also contains a wooden stick support like a normal kite and Kanni can also be tied on this kite; with this kite a tiny charkha containing thread to fly it is also made”, said Chittora.
Chandra Prakash Chittora, resident of University road and employed at Government press is always passionate towards making miniatures of various things, like Diary, Pens etc.
“I got the inspiration from the renowned Miniature artist of lake City, Iqbal Sakka and started this work from the year 2003”, said Chandra Prakash who also runs a Binding Shop at University road and train under privileged people for the work of Binding books at free of cost.
Chittora also informed UT, “In these ten years, I have made several miniatures including world cup trophy on rice, biography of Sachin Tendulkar, Amitabh Baccahn, Ashok Gehlot, Pratibha Patil, APJ Abdul Kalam, and Manmohan Singh of 1 inch in size, 124 pages dairy etc.
In the year 2004 Prakash Chandra Chittora was honored by the District Collector for his creativity.
