The Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation (MMCF) has been honored with the 8^th Women Together Award as the best organization. The MMCF has been selected collectively by the Women Together Association (WTA), a non-government organization in joint association with the UN (Pre-Event).

This prestigious award was accepted by Maharana Arvind Singh Mewar, Chairman and Managing Director of MMCF and Custodian of the Royal Family of Udaipur.

MMCF has been given this award for protecting the heritage and patrimony and also for the efforts put in towards the field of education, tradition, culture, environment protection, transportation and many more issues undertaken by the foundation.

This ceremony was organized at the United Nations General Assembly on 5^th June. After receiving the award, Maharana Arvind Singh Mewar said that he is very happy that the work done by the foundation has been recognized by WTA and he has given the credit not only to the workers and officials of the foundation but also to the people of Udaipur.

On this occasion he also said that the funds collected through non commercial projects are used by the foundation on various works towards protection of human values.

He invited representatives of various countries for the Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation Awards organized every year.

At the award ceremony, a WTA spokesperson said that the Mewar Foundation has held on to the tradition of the Mewar Family towards it emphasis on human values and future preservation for which the credit goes to the multidimensional thinking of Maharana Arvind Singh Mewar.

WTA honors people from various fields for the supremacy of the work done by them, which includes women, companies, and social organizations.

Maharana Arvind Singh Mewar’s contribution towards strengthening Universal culture through MMCF has been appreciated in the form of this award.
