Almost 35000 rupees were withdrawn from a man’s bank account and the only possibility here is through card cloning as the ATM card was with the account holder himself. The case has been registered with Pratap Nagar police station.

Resident of University road, Sohanveer Singh reported in the police station that even while he was in possession of his ATM card, someone withdrew almost the entire amount from his account. As per the report, Sohanveer went to ICICI ATM at Bohra Ganesh ji choraha on 25th July to withdraw 5000 rupees but since there was no money in the machine, he went to SBI ATM and withdrew the desired amount. Post this, he did not do any other transaction. On 27th July, he got messages stating that 10,000 rupees were withdrawn twice from his account on 25th July, another 10,000 rupees on 26th July and 4500 rupees were withdrawn on 27th July. After this his bank balance came down to merely 252 rupees. He checked his bank statement and found that the amounts were withdrawn from some ATM at Chetak Circle, Jaisamand bus stand and Ukalna Mandi at Haryana. There are all the probabilities that someone was keeping an eye on him and the amount has been withdrawn through card cloning.
