A man in Pratapnagar became a victim of ATM fraud. Kishan Lal Mali of Sundervas went to SBI ATM to withdraw some amount. It was 7:30 p.m. on Friday when Kishan was at the SBI ATM. He inserted the card in the slot but his transaction did not get processed. There was a man standing behind him in the ATM cabin who offered to help him with the transaction. He then inserted another card in the machine and asked Kishan to type the password. While Kishan was typing the password, this man made a note of it. The stranger gave him his card back and probably told him that it was not working. Kishan did not realise as to how and when the stranger changed the ATM cards.

When Kishan left the ATM cabin, the stranger who had cheated him by changing cards, took out 9 thousand rupees from his account. Kishan learnt of this ATM fraud when he got a message of withdrawl on his mobile.
