ATMs to now link Aadhar Card Number to Bank Account
Now the ATMs will provide a vista to connect the Aadhar number to the bank account. Post swapping, the person will have to feed the Aadhar card number after which a receipt would also be made available from an ATM.

All banks will provide the facility to add their Aadhar number through ATM and Net Banking. For this, Central Finance Ministry had given orders for its implementation.
In accordance to the order, State Bank of India has officially started the facility in Jaipur. Customer, from any branch of SBI can feed the Aadhar number through ATM. SBBJ is in the line to tentatively begin this facility in a week.
Likewise, UCO bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce and Andhra Bank has started the facility on their ATMs.
All the customers of the aforementioned banks, who use net banking services, can add their Aadhar number to the bank account. SBI is also in the line to launch facility for registration of LPG connection through ATMs.
