Attacks on Journalists won't be tolerated
Members of Rajasthan Patrakar Parishad presented a memorandum to the Additional Deputy Magistrate in the name of the Chief Minister of Rajasthan regarding the case of Jiauddin, a Journalist from India News Channel who was allegedly beaten and abused by State Officers in Tonk on Saturday.
The group was led by Jai Prakash Mali and they met the Additional Deputy Magistrate in his office today to hand over the memorandum demanding immediate action against such an act.

The group of reporters who presented the memorandum includes Shanti Lal Siroya, Munesh Arora, Virendra Shrivastav, Dr. Ravi Sharma, Pratap Singh Rathore, Pramod Gaud, Abbas Rizvi, Shanti Lal Jain, Kapil Shrimali, Kuldeep Singh, Prakash Meghwal, Anil Jain, Ganshyam Singh Bhindar.
The members informed, “The victim has been intentionally targeted and all the cases stating hindrance in the official works are fake”. They further added, “Regular attacks on journalists won’t go unnoticed.”
The members also warned about going on strike in case of ignorance and late action.
