To promote Sindhi language and music Rajasthan Sindhi Academy, Jaipur, is holding auditions on state level. The first round of auditions will be held in Ajmer on 14^th July.

The admin of Rajasthan Sindhi Academy informed that the competitions for Sindhi Idol will held in 2 stages. The main objective is to encourage the Sindhi language singers in the age group of 5 to 50. The first stage that is to begin in Ajmer will be followed by auditions in Jaipur on 21^st July, Udaipur on 28^th July and Kota on 4^th August. The local Sindhi Panchayats and Sindhi organisations will collaborate for the auditions.

3 to 4 participants will be chosen for the 2^nd round. The finale will be on 11^th August in Jaipur. Cash prizes for the winner have been declared. 1^st prize will be of 31,000 rupees, 2^nd prize 21,000/- and 3^rd prize 11,000/- There will 3 consolation prizes of 5000/- each. All finalists will also be awarded with 1000 rupees each.
