Acquiring a driving license has become a tough task now. All candidates wishing to have a driving license will now have to undergo automated driving track test which will decide the eligibility of a person’s driving license.

The new automated track is all set to test the driving skills and the step has been taken to bring down the accident rate as many people acquire license without a good knowledge of driving. The automated driving track has attracted a budget of 1 crore rupees and is ready to be used in Chitrakoot Nagar. This computerised track will decide whether you are fit to get a driving license or not.

The state government had issued directives for having automated driving track test in Udaipur, Bharatpur, Kota, Dausa, Pali, Sikar, Jaipur, Alwar, Chittorgarh, Kota and Didwana Transport offices. Udaipur completed its track work in January 2019. Once the track is handed over to the transport office, the tests for licenses would begin.

Computers will now decide whether you deserve a license or not. Candidates will be required to drive their LTV in the shape of 8 on the track, two-wheelers on steep turns and 4 shaped track is for heavy transport vehicles. If the vehicle is not steered properly and the wheel touches the sensor, a beep sound will be produced which is sign of failure. The candidate will have to give the test 3 times, only then the eligibility for driving license will be finalised. All tests will be monitored by camera. Green signals would prove the eligibility and red signals would prove failure after 4 tests.
