January 28, 2025 – An advisory has been issued by the Ram Janmabhomi Temple management committee asking local devotees to avoid visit to the temple for the next 15-20 days because of the rush expected from those visiting the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj.

"Over the past three days, there has been an unprecedented increase in the number of devotees arriving in Ayodhya. Considering the population and size of Ayodhya Dham, it is becoming increasingly difficult to ensure darshan of Prabhu Shri Ram Lalla for such a massive number of devotees in a single day, causing inconvenience to many. As a result, necessary adjustments in arrangements are being made to avoid any untoward incidents. Devotees are also facing the need to walk longer distances," it added.

The Mukhya Snan for Mauni Amavasya will take place on January 29 for which approximately 10 crore devotees will be going to Prayagraj to take a holy dip. Apart from this, a large number of devotees are also travelling from Prayagraj to Ayodhya via train and road.

The temple committee has requested the local people to allow easier darshan experience for those coming from far.
