Ayurveda doctor dies mysteriously

An Ayurveda doctor died mysteriously in his house on Wednesday afternoon. The body of Dr Ravi Prakash was found in his room in Nakoda Nagar which falls under Pratap nagar police station. He was living as a tenant in the house of police constable Pushkar. The FSL teams sent the body for post-mortem.

As per reports, the Ayruveda doctor was not keeping well and he had taken some medicine on Tuesday night. There was probably some reaction due to the medicine and he vomited blood. His sister informed that when the owner Pushkar rang up the doctor, he did not pick up the call. Then Pushkar rang her up after which she reached the doctor’s house. The door was latched from inside and upon checking from the window, they found that the doctor was lying on the floor in a pool of blood. Police and the family of the deceased were informed immediately.

The doctor’s family lives in Churu. He had renounced the world 16 years back and since then he was living alone. Primary investigations revealed that he was on some dosage of sleeping pills as police found 12 sleeping pills in the kitchen sink.

Investigations also reveal that he lived a life of luxury. He had around 7 mobile phones, expensive head phones, car etc. but he used to provide free treatment for almost 29 diseases including cancer. This is one of the reasons that the land lord never took any rent from him. The case is being investigated though prima facie it seems to be a case of medicinal reaction.
