News has it that hills in Badgaon will be developed for eco-tourism. For this development purpose, some consultant agencies met with UIT officers and gave an outline of this eco-friendly project. Surinder Juneja-Dean of Academic Affairs, in a meeting with UIT Chairman Ravindra Shrimali , Secretary Ram Nivas Mehta and IAS Manju Choudhary, said that the hills in Badgaon area can be developed for tourism and entertainment and also for water conservation.

Once these hills are developed, they will add to the tourist spots in Udaipur. After the meeting and discussions, UIT officers along with Surinder Juneja inspected the hills in Badgaon. The team also visited dumping yard in Chitrakoot Nagar and discussed about its development, too.
