On September 10, 2024, the Bharat Adivasi Party (BAP) celebrated its founding day at the Science Committee Auditorium in Ashok Nagar. Banswara MP Rajkumar Roat attended the event. Afterward, Roat and hundreds of BAP activists marched to the district collector's office to submit a memorandum against Chief Minister Bhajanlal’s government.

Roat made serious accusations against Udaipur MP Mannalal Rawat, alleging that Rawat is involved in threats against Adivasi homes. Roat claimed that a viral audio clip, which he says resembles Rawat’s voice, discusses burning Adivasi homes. The situation in Lasadiya has become tense, with reports of violence between BAP legislators and activists.

Roat demanded legal action against Rawat and criticized the BJP for prioritizing religious issues over development challenges in Adivasi areas, such as unemployment, education, and healthcare.

Roat talked about the chance of teaming up with the BJP. He’s not sure if it will work out because of conflicts within the party. He said he might run on his own in the next elections but will wait to see what his party decides.
