If you bet anyone to give you the name of an honest government department, then you are certainly not going to win but in years to come, such bets themselves will get legal actions under Jan Lokpal. However, only hopes cannot give results, action is always required. Members of BAR Association Udaipur have filled a letter of pledge to be honest in their duties, they will not accept bribe nor will they give it to anyone. The awareness is increasing continuously nationwide with protest going on by anti corruption crusader Anna Hazare. Manish Sharma, General Secretary of BAR association has said, “The fight against corruption could be successful when common Indian pledges to forbid himself from taking any bribes, neither taking nor giving. We have requested people from every field, even politicians are requested to support the cause and fill this letter of pledge”. Senior advocate B.L Saruparia, BAR President, Chandmal Sankhla and other personalities including members of BAR and common citizens have filled the letter at court compound. The BAR members will start similar campaign in various government departments from tomorrow. Anna Hazare and his team along with his million supporters have raised the issue of corruption and this has awakened the ever sleeping masses. It seems that every city and corner of India is awake from last 10 days and they are continuously raising voice against corruption, in favour of Jan Lokpal Bill and Anna Hazare who is still on fast since Aug 15.
