This news has come as a shock as it concerns a reputed organisation in Udaipur.Reportedly the online tourist agencies are cheating tourists in the name of "Dharohar"."Dharohar" is one of the cultural centres performing various cultural dances and shows in Bagore ki Haveli. As per information received, some online tourist agencies have created a replica of Dharohar's web site and are cheating tourists. 

Some of the tourists from Mumbai who came to visit Udaipur said that they booked their trip through online booking system of a tourist agency. Along with hotel bookings they booked their shows for Bagore ki Haveli as well as the site gave them this option. When they reached the haveli for the show, they were not allowed to enter and were informed that their booking is not valid. The tourists aslo said that the moment they clicked on this particular site, an amount of 200 rupees per person was automatically deducted from their account. But after reaching Bagore ki Haveli they learnt of the cheating. Despite constant complaints received in this direction from the tourists, no action has yet been taken by administration.

Bagore ki Haveli conducts cultural evenings everyday. Dharohar is the name of the show that presents folk dances and songs. WZCC has a tie up with Dharohar wherein the folk dances like Chari, Bhavai, Terahtaal, Ghoomar etc are performed so that tourists get to know of the culture of Rajasthan. The tickets are priced at 90 rupees for Indians and 150 for foreign nationals. The online system of bokking began only 4 months back and people have been booking through dharoharfolkdance.in

This is really shocking that certain private online tourist agencies have created a replica of this website and are cheating people. Deepak Dixit, the founder of Dharohar, said that he will have the web site scrutinized and has requested people to book only through the authentic site.
