In a major scare chlorine gas leakage was reported from Public health engineering department at Chhoti Sadri, Pratapgarh. Health condition of 3 firemen trying to control the leakage has deteriorated.

In a major scare chlorine gas leakage was reported from Public health engineering department at Chhoti Sadri, Pratapgarh. Health condition of 3 firemen trying to control the leakage has deteriorated.

Monday morning at around 3:30 am, chlorine gas leakage was reported at Public health engineering department, Chhoti Sadri. The leakage resulted in major panic in the area. Police got into action and had to use siren to wake up people. People in nearby area were asked to vacate their houses and move away. One man sleeping near the leakage spot was rescued after breaking the glass of window.

Leakage happened from a chlorine gas cylinder in the Public health engineering department. This created a scare on the possibility of spreading of this gas in the surrounding area. Fire brigade team was called on the spot.

Health condition of 3 firemen trying to control was affected and they were admitted in a hospital. Team from Hindustan Zinc also joined the mission and helped in closing the leakage valve.
