Hilarious, but nevertheless, the administrators of the National Capital have started to blame Rajasthan for the pollution in Delhi.
Delhi, touching the highest pollution levels in the last 17 years has resulted in the three municipal corporations of the capital ordering the shutting down of schools under their administration, for Saturday, looking at the smog in the city.
When the National Green Tribunal reprimanded the government for its inability to control pollution, the blame was passed on to the neighboring states – Rajasthan, Punjab and Hariyana. The government said that the due to the burning of Parali these states, the smoke was being carried forward towards Delhi along with the breeze. To this, the NGT said that over the last few weeks, there has been no wind blowing in the region, so there is no question of polluted smoke being carried to Delhi, and that the g0vernment should take action to resolve the pollution rather than passing on the blame.
