Curtains were put across the main gate at Padal Pole, Chittorgarh fort in early hours today morning preventing tourist entry. The protesters, under the banner of Sarv Samaj Samiti, took command of the fort wearing traditional Rajasthani attire with swords hanging across.

A gun shot was fired in the air and cries of Har Har Mahadev, Jai Jai Rani Padmini, Jai Jai Rana Pratap and Jai Jai Panna Dhai filled up the area.

KP Singh, Udaipur Chief of Karni Sena said that today only one shot was fired but if the movie is not banned then cannons will blaze till Delhi and Dubai.

Local administration in Chittorgarh had deployed sufficient force to keep law and order in control.
