A case was registered in Falasiya Police Station on 17-Jan about kidnapping of a girl. The case took a twist when the girl reached the Police Station and said that she had run away from the house as her parents were trying to sell her off in Gujarat. Further, the person, Bhima, who was being accused of having kidnapped her was like a brother to her and she used to tie rakhi on him.

The girl said that her father used to hit her. On this she tried to commit suicide by consuming insecticide. She luckily survived the attempt. Her father however started staying upset with her since that day. One day when she overheard that her father was planning to sell her off in Gujarat, she ran away from the house.

After the girl went missing, her father lodged a case against Bhima. ASI Satyanarayan informed that the case happenings date back to November. The girl’s family was cutting grass in the field. The girl was taking the cut grass back to her place when she met Bhima in between. When the girl’s father saw both of them together, she hit the girl. Upset with this, the girl consumed insecticide after which she was in hospital for 8 days. After coming back home, she got suspicious of her father’s plans to sell her off and hence ran away from the house.
