November 26, 2024 - Imagicaaworld Entertainment Ltd has announced a Rs 130-crore amusement park project on the Sabarmati Riverfront in Ahmedabad. The project will feature multiple indoor and outdoor attractions, along with food and beverage options. Operations are expected to begin in two years, subject to approvals.

The amusement park will be developed on a 5 lakh square feet area on the east side of the Atal Bridge at the Sabarmati Riverfront. The Urban Development Department has approved the project, and the work order is expected to be released soon, paving the way for construction to begin.

The park will offer attractions for all age groups. Key highlights include a towering Ferris wheel with stunning views of the riverfront and city skyline. Visitors can also enjoy lush green promenades, parks, thrilling rides, and entertainment experiences.

The project is part of a global tender issued by the Sabarmati Riverfront Development Corporation Limited (SRFDCL). Imagicaaworld Entertainment Ltd will lease the land for 30 years, with an option for extension. 

Imagicaaworld is collaborating with international brands like Dave & Busters, Kidzania, and Superpark to bring advanced entertainment technologies to Ahmedabad. This partnership aims to boost the city's status as a hub for global entertainment.

The park’s scenic location and world-class attractions are expected to make it a major tourist destination, offering a mix of leisure and adventure for Ahmedabad residents and visitors alike.
