Udaipur will soon play host to a 55-year old single mom who is on a 17-day biking expedition from Leh to Kanyakumari. Moksha Jetley is already a Limca book record holder for being the first woman biker to have completed the Leh-Manali strip in 20 hours and 20 minutes.

Udaipur will soon play host to a 55-year old single mom who is on a 17-day biking expedition from Leh to Kanyakumari. Moksha Jetley is already a Limca book record holder for being the first woman biker to have completed the Leh-Manali strip in 20 hours and 20 minutes.

Moksha, basically hailing from Hoshiarpur, Punjab is currently residing in Manali where she works with a travel company. Moksha is undertaking this journey to raise funds for project “Nanhi Kali” under which 100 girls who cannot afford education will be provided eduation.

Moksha started the journey from Leh on Oct 2, her daughter Prachi’s birthday. She will reach Kanyakumari on 18-Oct, which happens to be her own birthday.

Moksha would ride through Jaipur, Udaipur, Pune, Goa and other coastal areas before finally reaching Kanyakumari.

Moksha said that age is just a number. One needs to never stop living and always follow ones heart.
