Reliance Jio’s JioFiber broadband service is likely to be launched for homes from Diwali onward. Reliance plans to offer services at prices that could completely disrupt the home broadband market.

As per details from Economic Times, Reliance broadband package could offer 100GB data at only Rs 500. Internet will be offered at speed of 100Mbps.

This pricing could bring down broadband charges substantially. Currently Airtel offers 60GB at Rs 899. For 100 Mbps speed, Airtel has a plan of Rs 1,299 and it allows 125 GB per month along with 1000 GB free for one year (only for NCR region).

As per Reliance Jio’s official twitter handle, they are currently offering services on a trial basis in certain cities. Reliance Jio Preview (Trial) offer is currently being launched in Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Jamnagar, Surat and Vadodara. It is currently in process for rolling out Reliance JioFiber in other cities
