Kumbalgarh fort is set to undergo renovation and development activities that could further propel its status as a major tourist attraction.

Centre has sanctioned an amount of Rs 7.5 Crores for development and maintenance of the fort. Rs 15.22 Lakh would be spent under the Swadesh Darshan Yojana for building a tourist help centre. This help centre will assist thousands of visitors who frequent the fort from far and wide.

Another Rs 13.83 Lakh will be spent on developing infrastructural facilities and Rs 6.85 lakh will be spent on provision of clean drinking water to visitors.

Rs 26.44 Lakh will be spent on development of stay homes, sitting and resting rooms inside the for premises. Benches will be placed along sideways and pathways will also undergo a repair.

The fort will also be laced with modern amenities like CCTVs, Solar lights, Wifi system etc.
