Mallya loses battle-To pay 580 crores to BOC Aviation Vijay Mallya, the liquor baron, has lost legal battle linked to his own Kingfisher Airlines.

He has been asked to pay 580 crores to BOC Aviation based in Singapore. Kingfisher Airlines owes a lot of money to BOC Aviation. BOC Aviation company demanded a compensation for the same. The decision has been taken by UK High Court.

As per news, Kingfisher Airlines had taken 4 aircrafts from BOC Aviation on lease. BOC accused Kingfisher of not abiding by the terms and conditions of lease. Mallya’s extradition case returns to Westminster Magistrate’s Court in London on 16th March. This case dates back to April 2014 and is related to leasing of aircraft by Kingfisher Airlines.
