Man commits suicide by falling from mobile tower

An elderly man committed suicide today by falling off a mobile tower. The incident happened in the Zawar Mines area.

As per preliminary information received, the man was apparently suffering from mental problems. He climbed up the mobile tower with the intention of committing suicide. He was climbing up the tower and supporting himself with a rope.

The rope that the man was supporting himself on, broke midway. As a result, the man fell from a height and was severely injured. People around immediately rushed him to the hospital but he died before reaching the hospital.

The deceased belonged to Palondra village.
