A man was robbed off 2 lakh rupees on his way back home by 3 men on car’s back seat.

A man took loan on his gold from ICICI bank from Kankroli. While on his way back home, he took lift in a car. The culprits were on the back seat who very carefully slipped out the loan amount from his pocket. They dropped him off at Benas riverside.

Bhanwar Singh Jhala of Kotdi pledged his gold in ICICI bank and took a loan of 2 lakh rupees. After this he reached Kankroli with someone and from there took lift in this car. He was made to sit in the centre on the back seat and the men sitting on either side of him took out the money from his pocket without his knowledge. The moment they reached Benas river, Bhanwar Singh was asked to take the front seat. The moment he got out of the car, the culprits sped away from the scene. Victim Bhanwar Singh realised that something was wrong and checked his pockets. He had been robbed. He started wailing and people gathered on the spot. Police inspected the site and started searching for the culprits as per description given by the victim. The culprits are yet to be caught.

Rajnagar police have started searching at Nathdwara, Delwara, Khamnor and Relmagra. They have not yet been able to trace the car as described by the victim. The victim’s family is also in shock at the loss of 2 lakh rupees.
