A school girl was held hostage in a godown (warehouse) in Balicha and raped for four days. The incident happened from January 26 to January 30. The accused has been arrested by Police and sent to judicial custody by court.

The school girl belongs to Borikuan Fala Gavadi village in Tidi Police Station area. As per the Police report, the victim left her house on 26-January to go to school. On her way, she was stopped by Govind (s/o Amarchand Meena). Govind belonged to the same village. He offered to drop her to school on her motorcycle.

Instead of taking the victim to school, Govind took her to a godown in Balicha and held her hostage in a room inside the godown. He took out the battery and sim from her mobile phone. He then raped her multiple times from 26-Jan to 30-Jan.

Finally, on 30-Jan, the victim managed to get hold of Govind’s phone and called her relatives from the phone. The relative informed the victim’s mother about the incident.

The victim’s family then reached Amarchand’s house and complained. Amarchand could not agree to his son’s wrong doing but when threatened with Police complaint, agreed to cooperate. All of them then went to Balicha to nab Govind.

Govind managed to mislead all of them with his talks. Finally, after everyone left, Govind’s father somehow managed to trace the girl and got her released and handed her back to her family.

The girl’s family then lodged a Police complaint. Police got medical investigation of the victim done. After registering the victim’s statement in court, Police nabbed Govind yesterday and presented him in court. Govind has been sent to judicial custody.
