A school girl succumbed to her injuries at MB Hospital after she poured kerosene on herself on Wednesday. She was severely upset after her father refused to pay her school fees.

Shilpa Kumar, was a student of grade 12 in Rishabhdev. Her father refused to give her the fees required for her schooling. In a fit of rage, Shilpa poured kerosene and set herself ablaze.

Investigating officer, Shahzad Ali said that the girl was immediately rushed to Rishabhdev primary health care centre. With critical condition, she was referred to M.B. Hospital Udaipur wherein she died late on Wednesday night.

The body was shifted to mortuary for postmortem followed by handing over to the parents
