Rajsamand and Kankroli face aother stressful night after a tough evening as an incident of stabbing could well result in unwanted altercations between two communities in the town.

The incident occurred when once again on the third day in a row, a couple of people from two communities clashed in Kankroli.  This clash resulted knife stabbing when two youth from a community stabbed those from another community, and fled.

As per reports available from the police and media reports, two people from Chhipa colony, namely Sunil and Amit were attacked at Chandpol by Mata Mohalla residents Tousif and his accomplice.  Sunil was wounded on his shoulder while Amit excaped injury.  Tousif and his accomplice fled the scene, while on hearing about the incident, which is now the third such incident in the last 6 days, a few people, namely Dinesh Paliwal, Kailash Nishkalank, Bhagwatilal Paliwal got together and mobilized other residents against a specific community, near the Ratha Sen Mandir.

The tense situation resulted in police teams from 10 different police stations being deployed at the Mandir area, under the supervision of the Additional Superintendent of Police, Harsh Ratnu.

Demonstrators are demanding action against the miscreants, since even after three such back to back incidents, the law enforcers are unable to trace or arrest the culprits.

Injured Sunil has been admitted to RK Hospital and is under treatment.
