A couple were bitten by a snake last night village in Nai area last night. The wife died during treatment while the husband is currently in serious condition at MB Hospital.

The deceased lady Mirki (25) had gone to her maternal house with her husband Dharma Meena. The couple had gone to sleep after their meal in the night. During the night, Mirki was bitten by a snake because of which she woke up owing to severe pain. The snake was still on her leg.

When she shrugged the snake off her leg, it landed on her husband. The snake then ended up biting her husband.

The family members then rushed both of them to MB hospital. Mirki died during treatment while her husband is in serious condition. Mirki’s body was handed over to relatives after post mortem.
