An Udaipur trader allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a football goal post at a college ground in Neemuch, MP. The deceased has been identified as Vinay alias Monu Damani.

Vinay was a resident of Hanuman Colony, Udaipur. He had gone to Neemuch to meet his wife and their three year old daughter, who were staying at in-laws place. As per initial reports, his wife refused to accompany him back to Udaipur. Vinay apparently left the place telling her that she would soon coming looking for him.

Vinay’s body was found hanging when some players walked into the playing field at Swami Vivekanand PG College in the morning.

Police has registered a case of suicide and begun investigation. The body has been sent for postmortem and police is getting the statements of family member recorded.
