Prior to this they are going to protest against fuel price hike and also the price hike of other necessary commodities. They will be joined by the trade unions on the 15th of March.
The farmer unions are focusing on spreading their message to other states as well through visits, mahapanchayats etc. instead of merely staying put at Delhi borders all the time. After the protest on March 15th, they will move ahead with protest in mandis on 19th March, youth participation in protests on March 23rd and the burning o the 3 farm laws on March 28 during Holika dahan.
Bharatiya Kisan leader Tikait said that if needed, the farmers will reach Parliament on lakhs of tractors to press for the repeal of the 3 black laws. It has also been said that Bharat Bandh on 26th March will be a peaceful one and will continue the whole day.
Reports also say that the Haryana farm unions have vowed to intensify their boycott of the MLAs who supported the JJP and BJP government in Wednesday’s no-confidence motion. They said that the no-confidence motion has brought out the real picture of who is in support and who is against the farmers.
