Bhutan Royal Couple arrived in Jaipur, Udaipur on Oct29 [updated]
As a part of their five day personal visit to Rajasthan, Bhutan’s newlywed Royal couple King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuk and Queen Jetsun Pema Wangchuk arrived in Jaipur today.

According to reports, the Royal couple has chosen to stay away from interaction with both, the media as well as the common public throughout the journey.
Accordingly, necessary measures have been taken by relevant Indian authorities to facilitate a hassle free celebratory occasion for the couple. Further, security measures have also been taken through the joint coordination of Indian and Bhutanese authorities to keep away the Paparazzi.
The couple is journeying through a special luxury train provided by Ministry of Railways. The 12-coach train is equipped with all facilities including a private salon, bedroom, private kitchen, a furnished drawing and dining room and an air-condition coach for the accompanying security personnel.
According to sources, the Royal couple might arrive in Udaipur on Oct 30th and will stay for a day in the City of Lakes, including a day of sightseeing; the couple is most likely to meet Udaipur’s Royal Family.
State Minister of Industries Rajendra Pareek and city Mayor Jyoti Khandelwal received the Bhutan King and Queen today on their arrival at the Pink City, Jaipur. The couple is expected to visit Jantar Mantar and Amer Fort tomorrow and will leave for Jodhpur in the evening.
Besides their planned itinerary which includes visits to Jaipur, Jodhpur and Udaipur, it is still not clear whether the Royal couple will visit Ranthambore or not.
UPDATED – 28-10-2011: According to a news report by Udaipur Information Center, Royal Couple will reach Udaipur on Saturday Oct 29 and will stay at Hotel Leela, on Oct 30 the couple will visit major tourist points of the city including City Palace and will leave for New Delhi on Oct 31st via special aircraft.
