Bina Kak Inaugurates Jungle Safari Park
After a series of meetings, Bina Kak, Cabinet Minister of Tourism, Art and Culture inaugurated the Jungle Safari Park today, developed near the Sisarma road.

The Jungle Safari Park is spread over a total of 21 hectares of land in the Kalka Mata Nursery, which includes 17 hectares of vegetation as well as 4 hectares comprising of covers walls, trenches and pathways. The National Lake Conservation Project had allotted Rs. 50 lakhs for the Park. Currently, Julie Flora plants seem to be the most abundant form of vegetation at the park.
Kak, an alumnus of Vidhya Bhawan School, said that the park would attract more tourists to the city. “Conserving places like these would help in building a natural habitat for the various flora and fauna,” she added.
She also asked the forest department officials to keep a check on the illegal construction near the park. She also cited the importance of prohibiting construction near the forest region in order to preserve the beauty of Udaipur.
Regarding the admission fee of the park, she asked the local representatives and the forest department officials to put up an entry fee reasonable enough for everyone to access the park.
Other dignitaries who were present for the occasion included Madhu Mehta, District Chief; Sajjan Kattara, M.L.A. Udaipur Rural; Roopkumar Khurana, President, U.I.T. as well as other forest officials.
